Following up on our story about the owners of Argyle Farms rebooting the general store in Andes, we hear from store manager Lauren Atcher today that Saturday will be the official opening, just in time for post-Thanksgiving Small Business Saturday shopping.
The newly refurbished store, which sells local groceries and dry goods and has a deli/bakery counter, laundry room, gas pumps and many other conveniences, will be closed on Sunday but will reopen Monday, Nov. 30, for good, Atcher said.
Regular winter hours will be 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.
