On Sunday, Catskills restaurants will don their Easter best, putting on a variety of buffets and special menus for the holiday. There are plenty of options to eat locally raised meat and eggs and decadent housemade desserts, along with vegetarian and gluten-free selections. It’s not too late to get in on the action, but be sure to call ahead for a reservation.
Eureka Market & Cafe, Grahamsville. Serving a combo of Easter specials and house favorites, including french toast, local woodsmoked mushroom ravioli, cheeseburgers and fish cakes, as well as a selection of housemade desserts. The Heron, Narrowsburg. Locally raised ham and chicken and other Easter specials, as well as the regular menu. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reservations: 845-252-3333.
Peekamoose Restaurant & Tap Room, Big Indian. Buffet brunch, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations: 845-254-6500. The restaurant will also serve supper from 4 to 8 p.m.
Woodnotes Grille at Emerson Resort & Spa, Mount Tremper. Buffet brunch, noon to 5 p.m. $40/person for adults, $17.50/children 6 to 15, children 5 and under are free. Reservations: 845-688-2828. The restaurant will be closed for supper.
La Conca Doro, Catskill. Easter specials include leg of lamb, salmon and prime rib. Holiday hours are 2 to 7:30 p.m., and the regular menu is also available. Reservations: 518-943-3549.
New World Home Cooking, Saugerties. Brunch buffet 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. featuring eggs benedict and eggs florentine, potato latkes, Catskill Smokehouse ham, sausage and bacon, housemade corned beef and veggie hashes, local asparagus and many vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. $28/adults, $10/kids 10 and under.
